Information and Administration Officer
Hi, I'm Carolyn, BrainLink's new Information and Administration Officer. I'm often the person at the other end of the phone when you contact BrainLink, as part of my job is to take requests for information on acquired brain disorders and the services available.
I get a wide range of questions, which can often be answered by sending out information such as our ABI Information Kits, Stroke Information Kits, fact sheets and booklets. Or it may be the contact details of suitable service providers for things such as case management, support groups or respite services.
I also back up our team up with office administration duties. I come from a customer service background and have worked in bookshops and the publishing industry, and my main hobby is freelance writing.
While I don't have a background in the disability sector, it is something that is of great interest to me, and I certainly understand that help is needed to guide people through the large and varied range of services available!
