MISSION

Reducing the impact of acquired brain disorders in our community

                            PURPOSE

BrainLink is a community based care and education organisation focusing on the impact of acquired brain disorders:

  • We educate health professionals, the community, business, corporate entities and individuals
  • We inform and refer-which promotes our profile, facilitates access and encourages engagement
  • We provide support programs are for those with brain disorders AND their families
  • We lobby and influence Government, other associations, related organisations and industry
  • We raise funds to build our profile and deliver our offerings
  • We operate to  enable individuals and groups to discover and manage their changed lives in the community as a consequence of acquired brain disorder

We are committed, within legal & ethical boundaries, to do whatever it takes to enable individuals and families enhance their quality of life;

We are accountable and operate in an environment of continuous improvement to enhance performance and develop competence in individuals in social, ethical and sustainable ways;

We value and acknowledge the strengths of individuals and families and build relationships built on trust and mutual respect;

We promote equity and fairness and encourage individuals and families to participate in decisions that promote maximum independence;

We support and inform individuals and families fully of all options available in order to prevent crisis situations developing from lack of assistance
