Email Network

Email Information Networks for People with ABI and Families

What is the BrainLink Email Information Network?

The Email Network is a free service available to individuals and families. It has been established in recognition of a need for more coordinated information sharing to give the public the most up-to-date information about policy, news and events. It aims to assist in the distribution of information to the large number of people and families affected by ABI in Victoria, in a coordinated and timely manner and close the gap between metropolitan and rural regions.

What information can be found through the Email Network?

Any information relevant to individuals and families regarding:

  • Information about ABI, Stroke, or Neurological conditions in relation to recent publications, developments, changes to legislation, systems, and new products. (eg new literature, posters)
  • Announcements of support group meetings, ie- meetings dates and the publication of the minutes.
  • Information about seminars, rallies and conferences relevant to ABI, Stroke or Neurological conditions (Eg Brain Foundation Carer Education Program).
  • Information about community based services, such as community day programs and support groups for people with ABI, stroke or neurological conditions.
  • Information about products and services being launched by the Brain Foundation and other ABI, Stroke or Neurological support services.

How it works:

  • To join up to an email network simply send an email to the Information Officer at Brain Foundation Victoria - subject heading PUBLIC EMAIL NETWORK - (info@brainlink.org.au), along with your name, whether you are a person with an ABI, migraine suffer or carer, and contact details.
  • To place information on the email network, email the details to info@brainlink.org.au, and it will be considered for circulation through the email network.
