Information and Referral Service

BrainLink has experienced staff who can provide advice and information directly over the phone, via email or send out relevant printed information on issues such as:

  • Practical information about what services are available for children and adults with Acquired Brain Injury in your community and how to access them.
  • Explanatory literature regarding Acquired Brain Injury, stroke and living with stroke, progressive neurological disorders and brain tumour. A wide range of Resources such as Fact Sheets, booklets and books are available for loan or purchase.
  • When appropriate, provide follow up to those people that use the service, to ensure that they have been able to access to necessary support.
  • Details about Family Services, and support available carers who are looking after a loved one with Acquired Brain Injury.
  • Information and assistance with accessing and using respite services.
  • Contact details about local Support Groups for individuals, carers, or families, and information about setting up your own support group.
