Our Services

We assist children and adults affected by brain disorders to live as independently as possible in the community through the provision of information and support services:

  • We offer information and educational programs for individuals and family carers affected by ABI;
  • Reducing the incidence of brain injuries, particularly stroke through education and impact awareness programs;
  • Developing comprehensive networks with government agencies, medical groups, funding bodies, policy makers, service providers, clients and carers, for advice and information exchange;
  • Monitoring and researching current issues for improvements in ABI services and piloting projects to meet perceived service gaps;
  • Offering respite opportunities that are unique and flexible, from one day support activities to overnight retreats in a range of formats; eg. For carers only, for people with ABI only, for both the person with ABI and their carer at the same time.
