Qualified in Accounting in 1975, involved in general accounting functions for many years. Worked in the international trade environment dealing mainly with small to medium sized entities.
Completed a Bachelor of Business specialising in Banking and Finance, Masters in Applied Finance, Masters of Laws, and Grad. Diploma in Company Secretarial Practice .
Worked mainly in the commercial Accounting and Finance arena, including Financial Restructuring, Business Assessment, Strategic Development, Corporate Governance and Risk Assessment, due diligence and business sales and acquisitions. Currently working as Compliance and Risk Consultant.
Frequent guest lecturer in Corporate Financial Risk, Corporate Governance and Compliance.
Active non-executive member of a small group of Boards including Aged Care, Research, IT, Finance, Technology enterprises and Publishing.
