Suzanne Hasthorpe BSc(Hons), PhD, M AgriBus, GAICD
Project Manager, Biotechnology, Department of Human Services, Victoria Suzanne has led research teams in the areas of bone marrow transplantation, cancer research and neonatal reproductive biology. She has worked in Australia and as a visiting scientist at the Radiobiology Institute in The Netherlands, Pasteur Institute in Paris, France and in Biochemistry at the University of Oxford, UK.
She is an experienced Director on healthcare and not-for-profit Boards. Suzanne is employed by the Department of Human Services and has managed and led the project for planning the establishment of a multi-site ethical review system for Victoria and the review of the Gene Technology Act 2001 in Victoria. She has expertise and experience in agribusiness and has been a member of agricultural industry boards.
