nib Changed Lives Information Series

The purpose of this information series is to enable family carers to meet other carers who are in a similar situation and to also learn and develop strategies to enable them to not only care for their loved one, but to also care for themselves.  Sessions have been offered in Wangaratta, Barwon, Grampians Loddon and soon in Warrnambool. Some of the feedback from the carers include-

“Put things into perspective – nice to know I’m not alone! Strategies to help with mixing with like minded people”

“Really enjoyed the session”

“Thank you for taking the time to visit us in the rural area”

“Meeting other people and sharing personal stories & guest speakers especially carers respite”

“Nice to know that others can relate to the struggle.”

“Sharing ideas and information. Hearing other peoples stories”
