2012 BrainLink Women of Achievement Award

with The Hon Michael Kirby

AC CMG

BrainLink proudly invited The Hon Michael Kirby AC CMG to be the keynote speaker at the 2012 BrainLink Women of
Achievement Award Luncheon. Kirby engaged the audience at the luncheon by sharing his life’s stories and on ‘Equality – Just a Damn Right!’

He focused his time at the luncheon on sharing stories of the many influential women who have made a lasting impact on his life. These women included his primary school teacher Miss Pontifex and two other female teachers who were “women of achievement who make a difference in my life.” There were also his two great-aunts and the first female judge of the     Australian Federal Court, Elizabeth Evatt.

The Winner!

Three inspirational and dynamic women made it to the top of the finalists list for the 2012 BrainLink Women of Achievement Award.
In front of 400 people, one was awarded the 2012 BrainLink Women of Achievment Award.
